When wellhead pressure rises, heavy drilling fluid can be pumped into well through kill manifold to balance bottom pressure, lest well kick and blowout should occur; the relief line, to which it is connected, can be used for direct blowout to release bottom pressure; it can also be used for squeeze cement well cementing operation to inject clean water and fire extinguishing agent into wellhead. The kill fluid or other fluids, which pass through the check valve in kill manifold, can only be injected into downhole rather than flow back to achieve the goal of well killing or other operations. It is mainly composed of check valve, gate valve, pressure gage and pipeline line, etc. One of its ends is connected to the cross of blowout preventer, and the other to injection pump. Both kill manifold and choke manifold are designed according to API Standard. Nowadays, the maximum pressure class of our company’s kill manifold is 70MPa, and the model is YG-70. In addition, our company also designs according to user demand.
